Bend Research Pharmaceutical Process Development is located at Bend, OR and performs all of the classic cGMP functions and a strong technology-transfer function.
Bend Research Pharmaceutical Process Development is an important extension of Bend Research’s capabilities since a new delivery technology can be developed and streamlined from inception to its final pharmaceutical manufacture for human clinical testing. Through scale-up development efforts, products manufactured at BRPPD can then be transferred for production at commercial sites. If approved by the FDA, these new medicines will be commercially produced to combat diseases and other common health problems.
And in our cGMP facility—Bend Research Pharmaceutical Process Development (BRPPD)—we reduce these technologies to practice through the manufacture of clinical supplies. Finally, Bend Research scientists and engineers are involved in the scale-up and transfer of pharmaceutical processes into commercial manufacturing plants across the globe.
