Enhance Biotech's new merger partner Ardent Pharmaceuticals entered into a Feasibility Study, Option and License Agreement with ALZA Corporation for the development of DPI-125, Ardent's lead drug candidate for moderate-to-severe pain.
In addition to the option fee upon signing the agreement, Ardent will receive further payments should ALZA exercise its option following feasibility studies, and will also be eligible for development milestone payments and royalties. Ardent will also obtain the right to co-promote the intravenous product in the US.
