An employee's overall performance coupled with the company's performance throughout the year determines his or her annual merit increase. In addition, our Performance Incentive Award Program is a worldwide plan that provides certain incentive programs or bonuses to eligible employees. Third, stock options are available to eligible employees and provide a means of sharing in the prosperity of the company as measured by increases in its stock price.
