Duties include but are not limited to:

Implementing and supporting both validated and non-validated applications used by Global Scientific Affairs.

Business analysis and requirements collection; preparing and executing software test plans, specifications, test cases and system test data; developing creative solutions to difficult problems.

Implementation of technical solutions for business problems, and applications support.

Providing a wide range of technical support with a focus on systems integration.

Will act as project leader for mid-sized projects; ensuring that applications adhere to the appropriate corporate and federal regulatory requirements such as 21CFR Part 11.

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.


• Minimum of five years of IT experience.


• Strong desire to learn and embrace new technologies quickly.


• Experience in computer system validation.


• Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft Access, UNIX and Windows 2000/2003; proficient use in Microsoft Project.


• Novell Netware and Citrix environment a plus.


• Solid business knowledge and knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or consumer package goods industry a plus.


• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.


• Demonstrated analytical, collaborative and consultative abilities.
