Job Description
Company Summary: Our client is a technology-driven, global health care company that develops and commercializes specialty pharmaceutical products for the eye care, neuromuscular, skin care and other specialty pharmaceutical products.
Position Description
Develops and maintains Clinical Research SOPs, Training Manuals, and other documents and processes related to the proper implementation of Good Clinical Practices within Clinical Research. Provides leadership globally in the area of Clinical Research quality and training. Develops and implements a program to ensure that Clinical Research training is properly maintained and documented.
Position Requirements
- A BS or BA degree, or equivalent experience, in a science or health related discipline with an additional 11 years experience in a relevant field; or an MS degree with additional 9 years of experience; or a Ph.D, PharmD or MD degree and an additional 7 years of experience in a relevant field. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience directly related to Clinical Research, with experience in management or training.
- Must have extensive experience in clinical training, clinical study design, monitoring, and reporting and related Good Clinical Practice, regulatory, and research compliance aspects.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, clinical trials design, clinical monitoring, reglulatory compliance and clinical research methodology and reporting including contributions to regulatory submissions.
- Experience related to pharmaceutical clinical research.
- Must have demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
- Substantial computer literacy
- Ability to travel 20 percent of the time, including international travel.
