Job Description

Our client is looking for a Scientific Content Associate to aid in the development of medical content targeted towards healthcare professionals. The person will be responsible for developing appropriate medical content, including slide presentations, speaker notes for slide presentations, learning objectives, activity overviews, abstracts, posttests, and evaluations.
Responsibilities will also include:
- Working and coordinating with client medical and marketing personnel on content production and strategy.
- Working with multimedia and design personnel to integrate scientific content into media
- Working with library personnel on data referencing
- Reviewing content for scientific accuracy
Requirements - Excellent communication skills - both written and presentation/teaching. Candidate will have demonstrated creativity in conveying complex subjects to sophisticated audiences
- Excellent maturity and professionalism is required as the person will work closely with medical and marketing clients as well as with nationally-known healthcare professionals.
- The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as on a cross-functional team, serving as liaison between the client and the team on content related matters.
- Excellent leadership, project management, organizational, and time management skills are required. Candidate should have demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams achieving stretch objectives and meeting aggressive deadlines
- The candidate must possess an advanced degree in a life-science or health-related field. Preference will be given to doctoral level candidates. Experience in medical communications/pharmaceuticals/marketing is strongly preferred but not required. Candidate must demonstrate writing experience or ability. Familiarity with one of the following subject areas would be advantageous: diabetology, hematology/oncology, psychiatry/neuroscience.
