Job Description
Company Summary: Our client partners with their consumer giant to create pharmaceutical advertising that delivers insightful, high impact communications to all customers.
Provides strategic leadership to the Account, Creative, and Client teams for anti-infective account.
Proactively challenges and addresses Client needs for long-term future (i.e. beyond current/next sales period).
Encourages and provides for growth and development of AS/AE Staff Assistants.
Coordinates and prioritizes activity among accounts.
Manages/steps in to challenge Client activities when necessary.
Anticipates and resolves Agency problems with workload, staffing, etc., having the benefit of a more global view.
Consistently submits proposals to Client with new ideas/programs to address new marketing issues.
Hires, trains, and supervises Account Supervisors, challenges and enhances growth and development of Account Supervisors, Account Executives, and Staff Assistants, as appropriate.
Runs account as a separate business unit-makes management aware of problems and successes, as well as profitability and staffing needs.
Helps to install knowledge, acceptance, and integration of agency innovations with Clients and Agency staff.
Requirements:
BA/BS
At least 2-3 years experience in a pharmaceutical advertising agency background on Direct-to-Professional accounts.
Previous client-side experience desired but not required.
Experience managing and mentoring junior account staff.
Must be a great communicator.
Must have dedication to providing outstanding client service and thrive on multi-tasking.
