Job Description
We are working with a renowned player in the sales of medical supplies and devices. Our client provides medical supplies that match the needs of patients and medical professionals, all while meeting the industry’s rigorous quality control standards. They have established themselves as a leading manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies and devices to every arena in the health care industry. They are known for their continued growth through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, which has earned them a top ranking on the Forbes 500 list.

About The Position:

We are searching for medical sales/management professionals with experience calling on the executive suite/C-level in the physician group, altnernate site, or hospital market. This field based position will help develop and implement the sales strategy within key physician group, surgery center and heath system customers. The Key Account Manager will work with C-Level executives in negotiating large contracts for these systems/groups. Product focus will be medical devices and supplies.

Candidate must possess an ability to:

  • Establish strong relationships quickly that help facilitate deal closures


  • Apply a consultative financial sell within an executive suite environment


  • Manage a portfolio of large accounts utilizing a strategic selling model


Key interface points within these accounts would be C-Level executives, Senior Management, Materials Management and clinical leadership. Interaction with the field sales and sales management teams to apply sales strategy and contract implementation will be critical (matrix management skills).

Candidate will cover the western US region and can be located anywhere within the area. The Key Account Manager will receive a base salary, bonuses/commissions, car allowance, 401k and profit sharing. This is a solid six figure opportunity with significant growth potential.

Skills/Qualifications:

To be immediately and seriously considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must have the following.

  • Experience selling within acute care and physician market.
  • Must have distributor sales experience
  • Understanding within the Physician Group/Health System selling process.
  • Knowledge of med/surg products and how to position a portfolio important.
  • Must have good computer skills, especially in utilizing power point and excel.
  • Must have strong results orientation and a demonstratable track record of effective consultative and strategic selling process and outcomes.
  • Strong experience working with GPO’s.
  • Financial/executive suite sales experience a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation skills required.
