Sales & Marketing Manager Job - Madison, NJ - Wyeth Consumer Healthcare
In this position you and a consultant will work to deliver solutions to the Category Development business unit. You will have management responsibility for an internal consultant. You will work with management to understand business strategies and objectives, analyze business requirements and define information systems solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the client area for which they are managing, have the ability to manage change effectively, demonstrate the ability to manage people and have a customer-focused orientation.
- Candidate must be proficient at multi tasking and prioritization. This person must be adept at team building and negotiating and must manage their projects and team in adherence to WCH business priorities.
- Bachelor degree required in a technical discipline and 7 plus years of related experience, with a minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Thorough understanding of the business process associated with Category Development functions with the Consumer Products Industry.
- Experience in implementing large cross functional project of which at least 2 years are specific to CPG operational effectiveness.
- Proven ability to partner with business clients to understand relevant business issues and applying technology to add business value.
- Proven ability manage people.
- Effective communication skills, both oral & written with both technical and non-technical clients.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with both clients and peers.
- Ability to enlist and partner with resources within and outside the department to ensure successful execution of design & implementation tasks.
- Demonstrated collaborative, consultative, problem solving, prioritization and analytical skills.
- This person should have knowledge of the CPG industry.
