Job Description
Controlled Substances Manager Supply Chain Management organization Reports to Director, Supply Chain Management Based in the FL Facility. 100K 15% Bonus - Relo. Overall Responsibilities This position will be responsible for managing the controlled substances within the Operations/Materials Management departments. Responsibilities will include handling the storage, inventory, destruction, relation reports, reconciliation of controlled substances as per DEA regulations and company policies. This position will provide advice and guidance to departmental staff as well as other Manufacturing Operations and R&D team members in the DEA regulations, and communicate facility DEA activities and reports as required. Essential Elements Education / Experience: BS in Chemistry or related discipline with minimum of 5 to 8 years professional experience in Pharmaceutical QA or Materials Management environment. Good working knowledge of CFR and state regulations as they apply to cGMPs and DEA. Good working knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agencies. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and English oral and written communication skills. Leadership and ability to motivate others. Excellent hands-on computer skills with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel and Power Point (statistics, graphing, presentations, etc.).
