Job Description
Position Type: Full-time
Medpace is a contract research organization, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, that manages the clinical trial process for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. We are currently seeking Biostatisticians to join our Biometrics and Data Management department.
Job Duties:
Contribute to clinical development plan preparation; Review study protocols and determine appropriate statistical methodologies; Develop detailed data analysis plans; Program study analyses, review study results and preparation of statistical methods section of study reports; Communicate statistical results to medical writing personnel to ensure accurate interpretation; and Communicate statistical issues to relevant project team members. Qualifications:
Masters degree or PhD in statistics with broad knowledge of SAS® and its application to clinical trial analysis; Knowledge of scientific investigative methodologies; Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and clinical research methodologies to include an understanding of all phases of clinical study execution; and Ability to understand and present relevant statistical data.
