This is a senior level sales position responsible for the direct sale of ABIOMED products domestically.

Responsibilities include:

Managing new account development and growth of existing accounts within an established geographic territory
Building relationships in an effort to maximize lead generation and sales
Conducting business operations in accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, and expense reporting
Providing timely and thorough response to customers’ product inquiries and issues
Assisting in identifying product line extensions or product enhancements



Skills/Requirements
Skills/Requirements:
BS degree in Life Sciences or Business
Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience in surgical medical devices (preferably cardiovascular) with a proven track record of success;
Ability to discuss the features of all our products to compare their performance with competitive products
Ability to work independently and exceed sales objectives.
Possess effective written and verbal communication skills as well as technical and organizational skills.
Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time will be required.
