Position Description
Support Global Therapeutic Area Head by overseeing all operational and administrative functions. Serve as a member of Therapeutic Area management team with focus on project and resource management. Leads Neurology Clinical Research staff and clinical subteams in the execution of integrated operational plans to maximize the chance of successfully registering new products/indications in top markets. Integrates a high level of quality, productivity and communication into the department for the timely completion of all clinical studies. Hires, develops and motivates staff to ensure scientifically valid studies conducted according to Good Clinical Practices. Leads assigned clinical subteams to rapidly deliver studies, which meet minimum and desired requirements in an efficient manner using high quality scientific rationale. Provides project and resource management across neurology therapeutic area portfolio.
Position Requirements
- MD (Urologist) with 10 years drug development experience in pharmaceutical industry or PhD/PharmD/MD/DO with 10 years drug development experience in pharmaceutical industry or clinical medicine
- Minimum two years of clinical research/development experience
- Experience with filing an NDA (at least one)
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing clinical drug development projects
- Expertise in cross functional aspects of drug development
- Successful work in cross functional teams
- Project management experience
- Strong analytical, managerial and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision making skills
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrated initiative
- Multinational clinical trial experience is a plus
