Life Sciences
To be considered for this position you must possess the following:
Experience in one or more of the following: pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, packaging, process engineering, quality control, or quality systems. Experience developing systems of care, as well as problem solving and facilitating processes to meet customer needs and achieve division objectives within budgetary targets. Experience with operations excellence concepts and tools, such as value stream mapping, business process redesign, six sigma, modeling and simulation, cycle time reduction, facility layout design, etc. A thorough understanding of one or more of the following: lean manufacturing, MRP, advanced planning and scheduling, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, call center operations, financial service operations, sales force effectiveness, organizational design, ERP and MES packages, e-Procurement, SRM, CRM, etc. Knowledge of Access and Excel. Excellent oral (presentation) and written communication skills. Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience in an operations improvement role. BS/MS degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent, or an MBA degree with a science/engineering undergraduate degree preferred.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Industry certifications, such as a Six Sigma Black belt/Master Black belt, APICS, are desired but not required. Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. Familiarity with modeling and simulation software, statistical analysis software is a plus. Candidates must be comfortable with up to 75% travel.
