Account Executive – 150,000 at Plan
Dynamic medical device company is currently searching for an account executive to cover the New England Territory. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to cardiology, ER, OR, Purchasing, Materials Management and C-Suite executives. Candidates will have a strong understanding of the complex concept sales process and whole house conversions. Candidates will drive the sales process with their ability to plan, perform present, educate, close, and generate interest in this FDA approved breakthrough technology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, execute, and direct overall Key Account (Whole House Conversion) Sales program, including development of account strategies, implementation of strategies, and coordination of resources necessary to optimize strategies.
• Engage in selling of accounts including qualification, demonstration, clinical evaluation and closure.
• Provide marketing input to upper management including market trends and competitive activity.
• Interface with senior level managers to maintain mutual understanding of product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements.
• Prepare and maintain budgets for all activities.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelors Degree required.
Desired Training and Experience Required:
• Five years of sales experience with a minimum of three years’ experience selling medical devices, medical products or information technology in a hospital environment.
• Experience selling medical devices, capital equipment or health care information technology to multi-departmental hospital middle management executives. Experience calling at the hospital C-Suite level is highly desirable.
• Successfully completed a formal sales training that focused on strategic and consultative selling and territory management.
• A demonstrated track record of sales achievements and meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives, a proven ability to follow a disciplined sales model and process, and a stable work history. Previous experience with team selling is preferred.
• Must be PC literate, have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and project management skills.
