Job Description
KV Pharmaceutical seeks a Director of Product Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities related to product development of solid oral dosage forms. You will develop and maintain a skilled research organization capable of meeting challenges posed by assigned projects and plan, direct and monitor tasks related to formulation and process development activities and manufacturing support. The successful candidate will direct and coach product development staff in areas such as safety, project planning, basic research, technology development and application, and analytical techniques. We are seeking an individual who can manage the laboratory facility with regards to materials, equipment, operating procedures and compliance to company policies.
The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or a related physical science, or equivalent and a minimum of ten years experience in pharmaceutical product development, with an emphasis on modified release solid dosage forms. Minimum of five years supervisory experience required.
