Job Description
KV Pharmaceutical seeks a Quality Control Training Manager. The successful candidate will have responsibility for assessing the skill and training gaps within the QC organization to ensure the right training programs are initiated, create and maintain an effective Train-the-Trainer program, and use innovative techniques and methods to effectuate training topics. The QC Training Manager will manage, develop, and implement specific technical and development programs including developing training matrices to define training requirements as well as fulfill CAPA and CIF action items to meet target dates. We are seeking an individual who can provide leadership to supervisors and managers in order to establish an effective results-driven management team and prepare monthly reports to summarize metric assessments and other performance/goal oriented parameters. You will have an opportunity to coordinate training with our Corporate Training/Development and Pharmaceutical Professional Development departments.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field and a minimum of seven years of progressive supervisor/management experience in the pharmaceutical industry desired. The successful candidate will understand how to deliver training programs, have a thorough understanding of the basic analytical operations and equipment used in the QC laboratory, strong knowledge of cGMPs and other appropriate pharmaceutical regulations. You must be able to demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to perform effectively without supervision. We are seeking individuals who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, math skills, have strong organizational and documentation skills, can multi-task, prioritize, and are proficient in Microsoft Office.
