Job Description
KV Pharmaceutical is seeking a Payroll Analyst to process employee payroll for: new hires, rehires, promotions, raises, tax information, benefit deductions, awards, leave of absences, 401(k), relocation expenses, bonuses, garnishments, child support withholding, etc. He/She will have strong time management, organization and communication skills, with the ability to continually meet critical deadlines, and provide excellent customer service. The successful analyst will be able to provide timely and accurate inputs to the internal payroll systems, as well as the external service bureaus. Operating in a fast pace environment, the Payroll Analyst will need to ensure that only authorized information be used, maintaining a high level of confidentiality of employee information.
The Payroll Analyst will need to have an intermediate skill level in the use of ADP Payroll System, and be able to interface with Kronos and JDE (HR). Knowledge of how to use Report Smith is preferred. He/She should have a working knowledge of accounting controls and month end procedures, including preparation of union reports, headcount reports, salary reports, reconciliations and accruals. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in payroll. Previous experience with JD Edwards HR, Kronos Timekeeping and ADP Payroll systems is preferred.
