Job Description
KV Pharmaceutical, a specialty pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, markets and acquires technology distinguished branded and generic pharmaceutical products is expanding and seeking to hire additional Production Supervisors for all shifts. Responsibilities include managing a team of up to 20 production employees to achieve efficient scheduling and attainment of production goals. This position requires strong problem solving skills including root cause analysis and investigations. This self-starting person will have the ability to take ownership in building a team, will possess strong oral and written communication skills, and will have the proven capabilities of training on best practices for equipment and processes as well as GMP and SOP procedures.
A Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, operations, manufacturing or related area and three plus years of production supervisor experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment that includes multiple products and changeovers is required.
