KV Pharmaceutical seeks a Senior Clinical Research Associate. This regionally located position has the option to work from either a home office or from our corporate offices in St. Louis. The successful candidate travel up to 50% of the time and will serve as the line manager for junior CRAs. You will be assigned to work as a member of one or more clinical research project teams and will support and assist the project teams in the execution of clinical research programs. You will be responsible to mentor the CRA team assigned to your projects and will function as a line manager. BS or BA required preferably in a biological science or a clinical discipline. An advanced degree in a biological science or a clinical discipline is desired. The successful candidate will have 8 plus years of site monitoring experience or a minimum of 8 years of a combination of site monitoring and study management. You must have at least 2 years experience as line or matrix manager and a minimum of 4 years experience in clinical trials of pharmaceutical products is required. Extensive experience in Phase II and Phase III clinical trials is highly desired. At least two years experience in clinical research with a pharmaceutical company is highly desired. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, ability to work within and outside of the clinical research function, detailed and extensive knowledge of and experience with FDA/GCP/ICH requirements for clinical trial conduct and clinical monitoring, and the ability to meet and/or exceed requirements for a CRA III. If you are self-motivated, can collaborate with others, and have the ability to use independent thought, judgment and creativity to formulate and implement effective solutions to complex problems apply today. You must be able to qualify for and maintain a credit card with sufficient credit line to allow for extensive business travel. We are seeking individuals who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, offers an organized approach to providing timely accurate reports, can multi-task, prioritize, and is proficient in Microsoft Office.
