    Job Description

                    This is a 1 year consulting assignment!!  


    The Enterprise Information Architect is responsible for structuring, describing and governing information assets, across organizational and technological boundaries.  


     


    Candidate must possess the following skills: 


    *Experience with Pharmaceutical Commercial Data (Sales and Marketing)


    *Experience with CRM and CLM Initiatives


    *Data Architecture/Data Management/DW background (Cognos/ETL/BI/Analytics)


    *Excellent Interpersonal skills with proven track record of interacting with business sponsors, senior management, and technology groups.


     


    Nice to haves:  


    *Experience implementing MPP


    *Siebel Campaign Management


    *Sales Force Automation


    *Additional Pharmaceutical experience in R&D    


     


    The Information Architect will also play a significant role in application and data architecture. Application functionality encapsulates and enables business processes.

    The person in this role will apply data standards to ensure accurate, timely and secure availability of data to support enterprise information-flows.

    The goal is to better leverage information to deliver business value, improve operational efficiency, promote transparency and provide business insight.


    The person in this position will help create the principles, standards, and formats of data to effectively manage and maintain information as a leverage-able asset.

    This role will support the overall enterprise architecture initiative by developing the information architecture for the enterprise.


    The orientation of this role is both top-down and bottom-up, i.e. working on applications associated with projects initiated by lines-of-business.

    This role will focus on strategic information requirements that support the future vision for enterprise architecture.  This role will publish enterprise-wide data standards and drafts high-level information structures and meta-models.  It will formalize principles, such as data-sharing objectives, data quality and currency, and publish information governance objectives and requirements.  It will produce an information-value model, which is used to outline how information flows for purposes of decision-support, transparency, compliance and portfolio management.
