Global Medical Devices Seeks a Product Design Engineer!
The Product Design Engineer will work in a "hands on" role to develop extruded catheter tubing products. The Design Engineer will lead a team in developing schedules, budgeting, design, prototyping of new product designs.
Requirements
- B.S. in Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in tubing extrusion in medical devices
- Experience in multi-layered tubing
- Documented expertise in design, development and manufacturing of extruded medical products in both high speed automated and manual assembly environments
- Knowledge of FDA requirements ISO 13485 and design history files
- Experience with DOE and statistical analysis
- Experience with intravascular catheters, hypodermic needles, or other related blood collection devices
- Experience with diabetes treatment devices a plus
