Job Description
Our client is one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of medical diagnostic instrument and reagent systems providing leading-edge automation technology for use in slide-based diagnosis of cancer and infectious disease. Their products are found in hospital-based histology laboratories and independent reference laboratories.
They are seeking an Account Executive in the Queens market to be responsible for promoting and driving the sales cycle of their products within advanced hospital-based histology laboratories, independent reference laboratories, and medical research centers. The Account Executive will interface with Pathologists, C-Suite Administrators, Managers, Technicians, and Purchasing Agents. This position covers an assigned territory for direct product and reagent sales to new and existing customers. In this role, you will implement a strategic territory forecast to maintain and grow the business to meet and exceed sales goals and performance expectations.
The salary for this position is in the 70K range with realistic first year incentive potential of another 40K plus a generous car program. Future incentives can be greater as the incentive program is uncapped. This is an outstanding company with a great future and numerous growth opportunities. You must have experience in healthcare sales, preferably medical device or surgery or oncology related. Candidates with pharma background only will not be considered.
