    Direct sales of a propriety cancer diagnostic product to physician practices


     



    Do you have a strong desire to sell a product that will have real impact in healthcare Can you demonstrate consistent, high caliber sales performance If so, you are the Business Development Specialist we are looking for.......


     



    Description:  As a Business Development Specialist you must have the proven ability and strong desire to communicate a unique, leading edge product into primary care, pulmonology and oncology practices. This position requires the unique individual that is both experienced and has the desire for  pioneering  sales  efforts of a new but yet unknown technology that can have real impact in healthcare. You will be expected to effectively make  direct contact with physicians and be able to clearly communicate the key benefits of the product to the physician. We have developed a unique product in early cancer detection for use with high risk asymptomatic patient populations and the company is at the point where sales are ready to accelerate.  If you can access the physician and effectively communicate product benefits, the closure rate is exceptional!  There is nothing like it in the marketplace but it takes a driven, focused sales professional to fully develop the opportunity in the marketplace.
     
    Necessary Qualifications:
    •    5 years minimum of successful direct medical sales to physicians in private practice. Diverse sales background necessary.  Preference is for those with medical device sales or services, to a multi state territory 


     


    •    Background in cancer related products, diagnostic or laboratory services is preferred


     


    •     Ability to deliver presentations professionally in front of groups is a must
    •     Prior experience doing pioneering or missionary sales of a new product or service
    •    Must have a proven successful track record in sales consistently ranking at or near the top for new product sales, revenue growth and quota achievement.
    •    Ability and willingness to travel  6-10 days per month
    •    Superior post sales support of clients is required for success in this role
    •    Strong communications skills; you must enjoy and be able to confidently present to physician groups
    •    Experience in working in a start-up or small company environment
    •    Bachelors Degree required; strong computer skills a must, particuarly with presentation software such as MS PowerPointe
    •    The successful candidate must be a strong starter, highly motivated, passionate to make a difference with this product and balanced in their ability to think and act tactically and strategically


     


    •    Ability to advance into a management role or potentially an internal role is desirable as the company rapidly expands a plus
     
    Location(s): We have openings for two specialists in tow the immediate areas located near the following cities:  Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA.
     
    Compensation: Target Income of 100K+
