    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY:  The Account Clinical Director (ACD) is primarily responsible for establishing Hill-Rom, (HRC), as the preeminent provider of  Healthcare Solutions through products and processes, the ACD is responsible to work collaboratively with the General Manager, (GM), and Customer Service Manager (CSM), to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for assigned HRC products and service programs.  This position will spend 70% direct selling and 30% relationship building through education. 


     


    RESPONSIBILITIES



    • Responsible for therapy rental as primary area.  Will partner with GM on capital, HITS on solutions, Market Specialists on Capital Therapy, and MEMs for moveable medical equipment.  Alternate selling models may be assigned depending on geography and business need.

    • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and profitability goals for rental, capital and Navicare Patient Safety

    • Convert and Penetrate assigned rental conversion targets

    • Responsible for the clinical and financial management in assigned rental accounts

    • Demonstrate cooperative teamwork with all colleagues in H-R to achieve overall objective of the Area and     enhance customer satisfaction

    • Provide clinical consultation to acute care customer base following clinical physical assessment

    • Responsible for clinical rounds in priority customer locations

    • Responsible for utilization of sales collateral to support clinical and financials solutions

    • Conduct Prevalence Studies and present findings to key customers

    • Report regularly on current rental revenue trends, conversion status and competitive issues to the AVP

    • Keep current on product and sales tool training

    • Completion of Assigned Management by Objectives (MBOs)

    • Keep current on Healthcare Trends

    • Responsible for Monthly Billing Activities to include review of the Unbilled Report, Open PO, DSO,             Capitation Summary Reports, Revenue and AIU trending & Sales Forecasting

    • Problem identification and resolution

    • 24/7 territory management for Clinical Consultative Services via pager

    • Collaboratively develop/implement clinical account protocols for clinical applications equipment management

    • Present continuing education Programs to RNs, RTs and Clinical Staff

    • Product Demonstration and Clinical Inservicing

    • Navicare patient safety and program sales and implementation

    • Ability to travel across geographic territory and regional/national meetings/events.


     


    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Required for:


     


    Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor Science Nursing (via 4 year accredited program) BSN, RN


    Respiratory Therapist (may be considered)


    Prefer Management leadership in Nursing


    Must have Acute Care Hospital experience -18 months minimum


    Prefer experience in Healthcare Sales
