    The biotech company we represent is a leader in the science and clinical application of regenerative medicine.  They are focused on the development and marketing of cell-based and tissue-engineered products that utilize living cells to repair or replace body tissue damaged by injury, disease, or the aging process.

    This position is responsible for selling a unique biological device to podiatrists, wound care specialists, and ambulatory surgery centers.  Each sales representative will be assigned a geographic territory which they will be responsible for managing.


     


     


     


     


     


     


     


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The duties and responsibilities of this position include the following, although other duties may be assigned.


     


     


     







    • Services existing accounts within their assigned territories; responsible for cultivating the relationship with these clients and growing additional business within these accounts





    • Responsible for prospecting new business by calling upon targeted healthcare providers and visiting these physicians/clinics





    • Assist in the creation of sales presentations and potentially marketing materials designed to promote and sell products.





    • Focus sales efforts by studying historical data in their designated territory and adjusting sales efforts accordingly





    • Prepare weekly activity/progress reports





    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through participation in workshops and professional society meeting and in reviewing professional publications

    Education and Experience


     


     


     


    Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 4+ years of sales experience in the healthcare industry (experience selling wound care products or devices preferred).  Management level or senior specialty representative with national sales awards a plus.  Successful candidate must have a proven and documented track record of meeting sales objectives.  Must also possess the following: ability to communicate effectively, ability to simplify complicated scientific information, and have a competitive and results oriented drive.  Candidate must be able to gain extensive knowledge of the product.

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


     


     


     


     


     


     


     


    Mathematical Skills


     


     


     


    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
