    Job Description

    Operational Excellence is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities, supporting successful implementations within the enterprise, and building people capabilities within the Company, using contemporary performance improvement tools.     The CI Professional is responsible for managing projects in the manufacturing arena including development of project scope, goals, work plans, timelines and implementation strategies Use Six Sigma toolset for effective problem solving.



    • Resource pool planning and management.

    • Plan and manage multiple related projects including, cost/benefit analysis of proposals, estimation of budgets, time lines, and resources required for successful and timely completion of projects.

    • Assisting in the development of measurement processes/methods for assessing progress towards goals and project outcomes.


                           


    Responsibilities          


               



    • Manage major projects including development of project scope, goals, work plans, timelines, deliverables, and implementation strategies using 6 sigma methodology 70%.

    • Develop project presentations, status reports, and measurement processes/standards in support of the Steering Committee staff 15%.

    • Develop Cost Benefit Analysis and Return on Investment cases for individual projects 10%.

    • Evaluate project resources 05%.


                           


    Qualifications   


                 



    • Bachelor Degree

    • Must have Kaizen experience and must have black belt.

    • Minimum 5-7 years of Process Improvement experience (Six Sigma Approach)

    • High level of knowledge in field of Lean Manufacturing, (Kaizen Event Coordination, Value Stream Mapping, 7 Waste Elimination, and Lean planning tools.

    • Effective team facilitator.

    • Must exercise considerable planning, judgment and ability to work independently.

    • Good leadership, inter-personal and motivational skills.

    • Proven presentation and communication skills.

    • Maintain customer relationships as well as manage their expectations

    • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.

    • Experience in Oracle reporting and tools

    • Understanding and being able to build Cost Benefit Analysis’ in support of project selection process.
